The Clinical Call Center Triage Nurse effectively extends care during and outside of regular Oak Street Health clinic hours by addressing patients’ medical, social, and psychological needs telephonically. Provide confident and professional service to patients while remaining engaged without background distraction. Follow current Prescription Refill policy, complete clear and precise documentation on calls, and ensure all patient requests are handled before ending calls. Check the CareReq queue, schedule appointments, and arrange transportation for clinic visits.
Work in a remote environment requiring proficient PC skills, computer literacy, basic Google Suite skills, and ability to navigate systems. Maintain a distraction-free private space with reliable dependent care during hours. Demonstrate high conscientiousness, professionalism, and reliability expected in remote settings.
Progress from Clinical Call Center Triage Nurse I to II with minimum 6 months tenure, strong problem-solving, effective communication, and understanding of customer needs. Meet exceptional performance metrics including Average Handle Time, Quality Metrics, and Care Req Reduction. Build skills for superior support and contact center success.
Requirements
- Active, non-probationary state Registered Nurse license in all states of OSH practice
- Proficient PC skills, computer literacy, basic Google Suite skills, and ability to navigate systems
- Prior remote work experience
- Ability to obtain high-speed internet and hardwire equipment to router/modem
- Distraction-free and private remote work environment with reliable dependent care during working hours
- Ability to participate in classroom-style remote training sessions
- Understanding of high level of conscientiousness, professionalism, and reliability in remote work
Responsibilities
- Provide confident and professional service to OSH patients
- Follow current Prescription Refill policy
- Remain engaged with patients without background distraction
- Complete clear and precise documentation while on a call
- Complete documentation for all patient requests prior to ending a call
- Check the CareReq queue and ensure CareReqs are complete
- Schedule appointments for patients that may be off-cadence or requesting an appointment
- Arrange transportation for clinic visits
