Brave Health

US · Full-time · $125,000 – $135,000

About this role

At Brave Health, we transform lives by expanding access to compassionate mental health care using technology, especially for Medicaid patients left behind by many providers. The Nurse Practitioner assesses patients' mental and physical health based on symptoms, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team on treatment plans, conducts psychotherapy, diagnoses disorders, and prescribes medications.

Day-to-day involves prescribing psychotropic medications including controlled substances, monitoring usage and side effects, and evaluating treatment effectiveness through patient behavior and responses. NPs educate patients and families on mental health conditions, treatments, and medication risks while working effectively with difficult patients, deescalating when necessary.

Documentation is key: maintain accurate records of histories, assessments, diagnoses, plans, prescriptions, and outcomes in the EHR. Practice complies with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, national standards, and internal policies, consulting the Clinical Director or Medical Director for guidance.

Join a community health-centered organization closing gaps in care. This remote role offers a salary range of $125,000 - $135,000 and the chance to make mental health treatment accessible and life-changing wherever patients are.
