We are a psychiatrist-owned mental health practice rooted in New York City, serving individuals across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, and Massachusetts through virtual and hybrid appointments. The Nurse Practitioner provides clinical Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology services to patients through a primarily tele-health environment.

With a Whole-Person Lens, provide compassionate, science-based care that honors biology, psychology, and life circumstances. Utilize expertise in Psychotherapy modalities like CBT, MI, DBT, and Medication Management to deliver quality care. Go beyond symptom management in an interdisciplinary model grounded in collaboration and personalization.

Work within a collegial culture rooted in shared values, reciprocal support, curiosity, learning, and growth. Collaborate with dynamic interdisciplinary team including Psychiatrists, Therapists, and Operational teams who assist with clinical excellence and administrative tasks. Participate in Rivia Mind supervision groups, trainings, and meetings such as weekly group supervision for case discussions, frequent 1:1 supervisor meetings, and weekly education meetings with guest speakers. Engage in orientation/onboarding, collaborating physicians, specialty supervision groups, and quarterly town halls. Foster continued learning and growth in a diverse group with internal education opportunities.

Requirements

  • New Jersey Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Expertise in Psychotherapy modalities (i.e. CBT, MI, DBT, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Medication Management for mental health
  • Ability to provide care via tele-health environment
  • Experience delivering science-based, personalized mental health treatment
  • Comfortable in interdisciplinary collaboration model

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology services to patients through primarily tele-health
  • Utilize expertise in Psychotherapy modalities such as CBT, MI, DBT
  • Deliver Medication Management for mental health patients
  • Collaborate with Psychiatrists, Therapists, and Operational teams for clinical excellence
  • Participate in weekly group supervision with case and peer discussion
  • Attend frequent 1:1 supervisor/supervisee meetings
  • Join weekly education meetings for case presentations, guest speakers, and training
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team collaboration and specialty supervision groups
