In collaboration with a designated physician, deliver outpatient psychiatric care including intakes, assessments, and medication management. Review and analyze participant records to furnish psychotropic drugs. Evaluate the quality and appropriateness of mental health participant care.
MHRC is a 16-bed inpatient program offering intensive support and rehabilitative services. Serve individuals aged 18-64 with mental health struggles requiring state hospital-level care. Receive comprehensive behavioral health services from a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing with specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from accredited university
- Completed approved Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program with Adult, Child, or Family focus
- Two to three years experience with adults and children greater than age 12 with DSM-V diagnosis
- Current certification to practice as Nurse Practitioner by California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current medication furnishing number issued by State of California
- Current license to practice as Registered Nurse by California Board of Nursing Education
- Current DEA License for furnishing psychotropic medications
- Valid California Driver’s License and automobile insurance meeting company policy
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designated physician to provide outpatient psychiatric care
- Conduct intakes and assessments for mental health participants
- Furnish and provide medication management following established standards
- Review and analyze participant records for psychotropic drug usage
- Evaluate quality and appropriateness of mental health care
- Assess participants with DSM-V diagnoses in adults and children over age 12
