GoHealth Urgent Care

Danbury, US · Full-time · $130,000 – $140,000

About this role

GoHealth Urgent Care partners with innovative health systems like Northwell Health to deliver effortless, personal, and connected experiences. The UCA Fellowship Program, accredited by the Urgent Care Association of America and College of Urgent Care Medicine, trains advanced care practitioners with minimal urgent care experience to function independently.

The 6-month program runs annually from May 2026 through October/November 2026, full-time with hours split between in-center training and didactic sessions. Fellows engage in clinical shifts alongside senior preceptors, hands-on skills labs, case study reviews, and mandatory weekly lectures plus self-learning.

Training occurs in partnership with experienced providers and faculty, including program directors and core faculty who monitor progress. Fellows float across different centers, potentially requiring regional travel, and adhere to GoHealth’s quality metrics like Net Promoter Score, attendance, and antibiotic stewardship.

Phased evaluations ensure competency, with research or publishing required for graduation. Fellows receive full-time employee benefits, and successful completion may lead to continued full-time employment based on regional needs.
