About this role
Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Emergency Nurse to partner in providing medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff at a field hospital in Port Au Prince, Haiti. This deployed, rotational contract features a 3-month on, 1-month off cycle. The role supports critical care in a high-stakes environment.
The team bases in a secure, purpose-built camp and hospital facility where all service delivery occurs within its confines. Aspen Medical delivers a Level 2 Field Hospital with EMS, Pre-Hospital Care, Surgical, Diagnostic and Laboratory, and ancillary services. All clinic services adhere to US clinical standards and compliance measures.
US Government provides comprehensive support including camp facilities, travel, meals, accommodation, internet, and basic life support requirements. Staff join a small, dynamic team in a responsive, mission-driven organization. This setup ensures focus on high-quality patient care delivery.

Requirements
- All staff must be US citizens or Green Card holders; sponsorship not available
- Graduate or higher-level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from accredited professional nursing program
- Current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in one of the U.S. states, territories, commonwealths, or District of Columbia
- Minimum of three years as registered nurse with minimum one full year in intensive care, critical care, or emergency department nursing, or equivalent
- Current, valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) and/or Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) highly desired
- Fluency in Haitian Creole and/or French highly desired
Responsibilities
- Provide medical services to UN sponsored Kenyan Peacekeepers and US Government staff
- Deliver EMS and Pre-Hospital Care in a Level 2 Field Hospital
- Support Surgical, Diagnostic, Laboratory, and ancillary services
- Conduct all service delivery within secure facility confines
- Adhere to US clinical standards and compliance measures during rotations
- Participate in 3-month on, 1-month off deployment cycle
