About this role
Bring your passion for patient care and technology to this role where you’ll provide clinical customer support as the clinical application knowledge expert. You’ll facilitate solutions design, optimization, configuration, and delivery of Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring products. This ensures a quality customer experience throughout implementation.
Serve as a clinical resource to Philips HPM customers, working closely with field service, sales, and project management. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and customers. Enable a successful multiphase implementation and go-live process.
Understand customer goals and develop plans to support clinical solutions implementation and usage. Manage clinical aspects including assessing workflows, evaluating education needs, and creating education plans. Plan and deliver equipment education, support first customer use, and optimize complex monitoring solutions.
Understand clinical implications of technical implementations like networks and clinical informatics systems. Apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve problems. Expect approximately 90% travel across the district with occasional national travel.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital environment; prior clinical training and adult education delivery experience highly preferred
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, OR, NICU, and/or PICU settings; knowledge of Philips IntelliVue monitoring equipment and applications preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent licensure to practice nursing with current/active license verification
- Certified Technical Trainer Plus (CTT+) and/or Virtual Certified Technical Trainer Plus (VCTT+) preferred
- Passionate about technology and education related to patient care
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in office/home office/remote and hospital/healthcare environments, flexible hours, wear PPE, and comply with vendor credentialing
Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical resource to Philips HPM customers, working closely with field service, sales, and project management organizations throughout multiphase implementation and go-live
- Understand customer goals and develop plans to support clinical solutions implementation and usage, delivering consultative services focused on workflows and optimization
- Manage clinical aspects of implementation including assessing workflows, evaluating education needs, creating education plans, determining custom configurations, planning and delivering education, supporting first customer use, and optimizing monitoring solutions
- Understand clinical implications of technical implementations including networks and clinical informatics systems
- Apply product and clinical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve problems
- Travel approximately 90% across the district with average 1-4 hours daily driving, occasional overnight stays, and possible national travel
