Deliver exceptional care to children aged 3-16 during pre/post-operative ward stays, clinics and procedures around the hospital. Play a vital role supporting patients and their parents or guardians through the hospital journey. Provide high quality, clinically effective care as an essential part of the ward team.
Broaden skills across a wide variety of cases and work within different specialist areas. Our modern Oxford Hospital features 6 operating theatres, 64 ensuite rooms, and specialties including paediatrics, oncology and orthopaedics. Enjoy excellent transport links by road and rail.

Requirements
- Registered with the NMC and bring qualifications and experience relevant to registration
- Post-registration experience, including work on the surgical ward
- Dual training approach equipping for paediatric and adult care environments
- Ideally possess Intermediate Life Support (ILS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Alert, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic
- Team player with a passion for exceptional patient care
Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality, clinically effective care as an essential part of the ward team
- Provide exceptional care to children aged 3-16 during pre/post-operative stays on the ward
- Support children during clinics and procedures around the hospital
- Act as a trusted support for patients and their parents or guardians
- Broaden skills across a wide variety of cases
- Work within different specialist areas
