Provide top-notch patient care within your assigned department or unit in Women's Services. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while ensuring highest standards of safety and compassion. Work closely with clinical managers, physicians, specialists, and support staff to create comprehensive care plans.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure
BSN strongly preferred; consider RNs without BSN based on experience and Chief Nursing Officer approval
At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of Legacy Health RN Residency program
Preferred: Labor & Delivery experience
American Heart Association BLS required
American Heart Association NRP required within 6 weeks of hire or orientation
STABLE within 6 months of hire
Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course within 6 months of labor training

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care within assigned department/unit
Collaborate with the health care team under the guidance of the clinical manager or designee
Adhere to the Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Follow established patient care standards for Legacy Health System, including patient assessment and transfer protocols
Provide care in Family Birth Center settings including labor and delivery support
